The Performance Edition was a dressed-up 2010 ZX-6R with the same 599 cc engine and chassis as the standard bike. Its look came from an Akrapovic exhaust, a double-bubble screen, a rear seat cowl and tank and knee pads. It was aimed at buyers who wanted the bike to look and feel more track-ready.
